Re: So... I wanna make my own video projector
That $99 projector is absolute garbage. If you want to buy that, then you're better off burning your money (or giving it to me ;)). http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/buyer-beware/worlds-crappiest-projector-reviewed-327587.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Now, is there a way to make the p...

Re: So... I wanna make my own video projector
Oh, yeah. I got the wrong URL. It's actually ChinaVasion, not ChinaVision. http://www.chinavasion.com/ is the correct address. And BTW, I don't make enough to splurge $200 on a projector, and that's why I wanna either make one that costs less than $100 or just buy the $99 one from HA. I mean, would ...

Re: So... I wanna make my own video projector
No bulb will work well but a Metal Halide. I have been building projectors for over 5 1/2 years and I have tried almost every light source available. With a homemade projector you will get approximately 1/2 of 1% of the bulbs lumens through the projection lens. The reason behind this is the light l...

Re: So... I wanna make my own video projector
Don't get the one you linked to at HA, it's a cheap knockoff with rectangular pixels. So... then I should stick to making one, cuz I'm not going to shell out something that needs to be supplied with impossible-to-find-outside-the-Internet lamp bulbs. Especially since even the cheap, refurbished one...

Re: So... I wanna make my own video projector
So... using this particular Instructable , I plan on making one. Now, this person had a great deal of the stuff and spent $50 on what s/he didn't. Now, I only have the DVD player, so how much would the rest cost? If it's too much, I'll just buy this $100 projector from Heartland America . And what l...

Re: So... I wanna make my own video projector
I'm NEVER gonna use an overhead projector. They are WAY too heavy. I need to be able to carry it from Point A (i.e. the living room) to Point B (either the back yard or an off-premise location, like someone else's house). But if I do use one, which I won't, it'll be built around a broken laptop in l...

So... I wanna make my own video projector
I've currently got the DVD player. Still gotta get the rest of the parts, but what I wanna know is what should I use as the light source. I originally wanted to use LEDs, but found out that their lumens level is crap. I heard of someone using a bulb from a halogen light. But I found out that my loca...

Turning LCD games into projection-based games?
Over at Raphael Assenat's webpage , there's a how-to on turning an LCD watch into a projection clock. Now, taking that into heart, I gotta ask if it's possible to turn LCD-based games (like this handheld Space Invaders game ) into one with a projected screen? So then, instead of playing the game on ...

What i find surprising is that people have these idea's yet won't spend the time to learn to code or take the easy way out and use a damn free engine that can do it yet they still don't wanna script. Either learn or use a game creator tool or don't bother posting about it cause really who would wan...

Actually its not a trilogy. There are four games out now. Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare is on Dreamcast. The New Nightmare doesn't count. It's not a continuation of the first three, and thus isn't part of the original trilogy. And it was also out on the PC, PlayStation, and the GameBoy Color...
