It's painted with acrylic spray.
I thought it might come off, though the other parts i painted was ok even if i scratched them with my nail.
I guess I will find out later

Re: The NEShuck
I've been on a little trip over the weekend and getting my tan on
Even managed to burn my shoulders and get some fugly tank top lines, haha.
Anyhow, I've recieved the gamecube controller and the cord was white enough,
it also had exactly 5 wires so it'll work just fine. Will solder it later today.

Re: The NEShuck
Yeah five is fine, that's all I need.
I have a PSone controller but the cable ain't white, it's more of a medium grey.
I ordered a white gamecube controller yesterday and they'll ship it on monday.
If it doesn't have a completely white cable I'll go with a light/medium grey instead.

Haha, nice I've forgotten all about that screen. Do you have one just like that?
Sorry to say, but I won't be of any help as I don't remember anything about screens and whatnot.

Re: The NEShuck
Hey I didn't even think about that
I appreciate the offer but I just remembered where I can get those controllers here in Sweden,
so I think I'll just get one here. Thanks though

Re: The NEShuck
Painting cables ain't no good idea in my opinion, the paint tend to come off.
Hmm, most Apple cables are too short. Also, they are often grey and not white.
So I think I'll need to look around for some random, white USB cable. Hope that it'll be soft enough though.

Re: The NEShuck
Thank you, HercTNT. I agree that there's absolutely some amazing poeple here, I'm still impressed by many peoples work. The completion of my NEShuck is being pushed back :( A friend of mine who I was going to buy a NES from can't find it so I'll have to find one elsewhere. Btw, it's kind of funny th...

Re: The NEShuck
My progress on the NEShuck has been going a bit slow for a couple of days now..
I'm busy with other stuff atm but I'm hoping to have it finished by the beginning of next week.

How can I mass produce them? I certainly have no time or patience to make several myself

Re: The NEShuck
All right. I've soldered the d-pad to the main circuit board and added two tabs inside of the case to keep it at the right level.

Re: The NEShuck
I can upload more pictures later today of my progress.
I'll have to look around for a videocamera when it's finished though, I don't own one.

Re: The NEShuck
That looks great! Your cutout job is amazing! Hmm.... it looks almost exactly like the one I've been working on, only my start/select are under the control pad  (I am being serious, btw) Thanks man! I have to say you got me curious now :) Could you post a pic? Would be interesting to see Let ...

Re: The NEShuck
Oh ok, I can see that now. I think most wireless controllers do have bigger boards, not 100% sure on that but some SNES controllers do. And they often have turbo/slowmo buttons as well which probably takes som space too, maybe those parts can be discarded though. Anyway, I'll just leave this one cor...

Re: The NEShuck
Question! Are you gonna make it wireless? I actually had the idea, but I'm not that experienced with wireless controllers. Would I need the board of a wireless NES controller or can I make the original wireless in some way? If it requires an already wireless one I guess it would be harder to fit it...
