Well, I really won't mind at all bumming one from a trusted member of this site. They are pretty rare to find in my remote city of my remote province of Canada and it seems there's no on ebay. I'll check for amazon btw.
Thank you !

I did some more poking around and found something out. My 12 line is only putting out out around 5 volts. I think I fried it when I (stupidly) ran the regulator for the ps1 screen off of it. So, new question, anyone know how to fix a GC PSU that has a bad 12 rail? Just to be sure: You took the tens...

I'm the one that said the 12Volt rail may be a trouble, but it turns out to be very low on the PicoPSU Variable Input model only. The normal 12V PicoPSU has no troubles for the 12Volt output. Oh I see, I never tried it with a variable input picoPSU, but only with normal picoPSU, the dc don't take t...

Well you have been very helpful. the batteries: another thing said the picopsu wouldn't work cause the 12v rail didn't give enough amps or something. A picopsu works like a charm, you only have to connect the PWR_ON pin to the ground (GRND) to make it boot with no problem. (if you connect PWR_ON wi...

1-For the batteries: I actaully found that lithium 11.1v 2600mAh batteries running the dreamcast with a picopsu 120wats (could be 80 too) makes it run for 75 minutes with a non-modded psone screen, so maybe even longer with a psone screen modded with leds, I took my battery out of a portable dvd pla...

I now have the screen powered internally and the gamecube power supply in operation. I'm having a bit of trouble with disk read errors at the moment, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix. I'll be adding batteries sometime with week. EDIT: Ok, so the disk read errors seem to be related to the laser...

Nice. I can't wait to see this done. Are you going to use the original DC buttons, analog cap, and dpad or the crap astropad ones? I'ma take the crappy astropad ones, because they'll fit and it'll be less bothering. dkap didn't used the original dc parts neither for the controller, he used psone's ...
