Re: NES 2 Composite Mod
Dumb question: when you say that you don't need a few of the inductors or capacitors do you just lop off the part of the board they're on, or do you just relocate them? If they're truly not needed why are they on the board in the first place? Dont need them. They convert the AC current to DC curren...

For anyone who's interested u5 pin 21 is the video out pin of the ppu chip (ppu chip is u5), u5 pin 20 is ground, and u6 pin 40 is 5v (I actually wired up 5v on ...

Re: Q: Can we re build Super FX(2) chips?
Sorry, The Super FX chip was a custom piece of silicone that Nintendo made. Unless Nintendo releases the gate level design documents so it could be recreated in FPGA or reproduced it won't have replacement parts.

Re: Hacking Video Game Consoles: Turn your old video game system

There is better, more up to date information on this forum, and the book has some serious errors in some of the projects, ones that will result in non-working portables. Correct. I would just browse the console list on the...

Re: HOW > Metal Spot Welding?
You still need the Arc Welder Box. Find a local hackerspace. They usually have welders.Haunted360 wrote:What about this one?

Because I need to basically make now a box...
I mean, Bondo / JB weld will work, but it is not as strong as a metal-to-metal weld.

So the NES 2 only outputs RF and has vertical lines. What you going to do? All the mods I found on the internet fix the RF issue but still have vertical lines! ENTER the LHE NES 2 mod! It has only 4 parts and 1 comes with the NES 2! http://longhornengineer.com/2011/07/19/nes-2-video-mod-schematic/" ...
