Dreamcast Arcade Stick VS Jet Set Radio
Decided to finally try out the Arcade Stick I bought a year ago. Funny enough, except for Jet Set Radio, every other game (House Of The Dead 2, Quake 3, Shadow Man, Crazy Taxi) worked with it. Only Jet Set Radio didn't let me use any other button than A, which is jump. In the Menus all buttons work,...

GC Gameboy Player
Seeing as it is a seperate unit from the GC, could it be possible that with a slight modifcation of the AV Signal Out and its own external power supply, it wouldn't need the Gamecube to be used on a TV? Haven't got the time really to play my GBA on the go anymore, so playing it like a seperate conso...

Re: Insane NDS-to-GBA Project
Well, I did give up to actually do this mod after I came across this: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/383/pocketretrogameemulator.jpg It's called the Dingoo A320, costs around 80 bucks, but does a lot more than an NDS. Ok, it doesn't have a touchscreen, but that's what I didn't want in the first pl...

GC Controller: Short Question, Dumb Question
If I remove the C-Stick and will cut off the rumble, will it still work or will that mess with the console/gameplay?
(Currently working on a miniature Ikaruga Arcade Cabinet for my cousin and only need the Control Stick, Y-, A- and B-Button.)

That;s what I don't like about this place sometimes. Nobody is concerned with giving information, they just want to try and convince you not to follow through with a project. :P Well, I asked them for help, not the other way around. They are not obligated to, but they do respond more kindly than ex...

One more thing: Why not just use it as a DS, too? The DS is a REALLY nice system, tons of sweet games, and all manner of homebrew and emulators if you get a flashcart ($10). You can also use them to play backup copies of your games. I'm somebody who's got a huge issue with the whole play-at-two-scr...

Two tips: If you do end up doing this, remove the touchscreen layer for greater clarity, and get a normal screen cover. Will do. There's not much use for it after this mod anyway. Also, why not get one of those neat backlit GBA SPs? They are brighter than the DS phat, the same as a DS Lite or micro...

You could just buy a micro. :D That's it, that's exactly my problem. I'm somebody who has a huge problem with that *$%&ing tiny screen. I'm already short-sighted and wear glasses, don't need to strain my eyes any further. What you are wanting to make is a Landscape backlit GBA correct? If so, then ...

Insane NDS-to-GBA Project
http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9953/nintendodslitesidedw1.jpg The Concept of this Project will be that I want to downgrade a Nintendo DS into a Gameboy Advance that won't use the Top Screen. ... I know, that's why it is called Insane NDS-to-GBA Project. But, before this crazy attempt gets start...
