Re: "Gameboy Developer Unit" on eBay. But what is it? (56k GTFO)

I bet it is using GBA internals of some kind, with a peg to keep GBA games from being inserted. Why would he bother doing even that, though. On the first one he obviously didn't care about it. If he wanted to keep the user from inserting a GBA cartridge, he could just place the cart connector so fa...

I don't know how well eBay keeps track of previous reports and deleted listings, but you could refer back to the old listing, maybe?

Re: What do you think about GMail's new look?

On the advice of a member of the official Gmail support forums (a regular member, not a moderator or similar) I've created a forum page to discuss GMail's new look and strategies to make Google leave the old look as a permanent option, outside of Google's help area. What do you think about GMail's new look?

A few weeks ago, GMail allowed you to try their new look, and I believe now they have moved everyone over to the new look, or will soon do so. What's your opinion on the new look? Love it or hate it?

Added *.secretpirate.com/* to my browser's content blocker. If you're not using your own hosting, please upload your images to a trustworthy host like Photobucket or Imgur. It is my personal opinion that Photobucket should die in a pit fire for utterly breaking Google image search results hosted by...

Re: 2n4401 vs 2n4124

I'm not sure what "the video booster" is, but I'm going to co ahead and assume it's a low-power application. Both of these transistors are probably overpowered in terms of the maximum voltage and current they can handle. 2n4401 has a sightly lower bandwidth, (250 MHz vs 300 MHz) but it should be jus...

Re: Sega Game Gear Help. !@!

Re: Sega Game Gear Help. !@!

The GG's at the time were built with a batch of really bad capacitors which have degenerated over time. This is the cause of both these problems. There are tons of info if you search for bad caps (or capacitors) game gear. In particular: http://members.optusnet.com.au/eviltim/ggrgb/ggrepair.html" onc...
