Re: PS2 Controller

like this you can see the wires attached to the ps2 controller board (its an aftermarket one by the way, easier to work with I found.)

Re: PS2p Battery

The psone screen can run on whatever the ps2 runs on it isn't to fussy but you might have to jump the fuse on the psone screen board. But the ps2 is a lot more fussy and you would want it running on between 8.5 to 9.5v to be on the safe side.

kylechu wrote:Wait, so how can I fix this? I tried soldering onto it, but it didn't seem to like that. The regular tact switch is way to big to fit. What do I do?
Just solder a couple of wires to it and then to the tact switch.

Yea I had soldered over the fuse on the board as I had already blown it. Didn't have it running on 10v for very long, half an hour max.

Is this for phat or slim ps2 because on the slim you can just just wire up the ps1 screen straight up to the ps2s power which is 8.4v which it doesn't seem to mind running on. (had mine running on 10v at one stage and didn't harm it)

Very plausible and very functional as I done just that except mine had a mod chip in it which helped remove the green tint and made it a lot easier to put games on the hard drive. Also how good are you at soldering if you think installing a ps2 modchip is hard just wait till you try and install the ...

I am going to make a new case and I just had a new idea. What if I installed a DMS4 modchip, took out the laser and installed a inbuilt note book harddrive? Would that be better? I would really like to know your comments on this idea.
