Re: Troy's Arcade
This is a very nice build. I recently bought a full-size Ms. Pacman cabinet, and when I'm not playing that I'm dreaming of building a MAME cabinet. I hope that when I finally get around to working on it that it comes out as nice as yours. MAD PROPS!

Re: Use other (GC, PS2) controllers on SNES (clone)?
Short of completely rewiring the controller, the only other option is to use a micro-controller to do the translation. The SNES controller protocol is dead simple, and the GC/N64 protocol seems well documented enough to be able to make a working adapter. I'm working on some controller projects mysel...

Re: Some input needed
When you ask about a LED battery indicator, do you mean just an LED that turns on when the unit is on and then back off when you turn the unit off? Or do you mean something more like what's on a DS? Green when the battery is charged and orange when its getting low?

Re: Best source for NDS replacement screen?
That's for DS Lite, I need one for the original DS. It doesn't really matter, though. I found a US seller on ebay and purchased one earlier today.

WTB: replacement lower screen for DS Phat
I've got a Nintendo DS phat that's got a glitchy lower screen. If anyone has a replacement screen, or even an original DS that's good for parts, let me know.
Thanks

Best source for NDS replacement screen?
I've got an original Nintendo DS that the lower screen is dieing in, and I need a replacement. Can anyone tell me where would be the best place to get one? I looked around and found a bunch of parts for the DS Lite, but I'm having some trouble with parts for the original version.
Thanks

I wasn't trying to ruin your fun. In fact, I'm going to make my own custom keyboard & mouse rig using an Arduino that I got for Christmas. I was just saying that if you're wanting something that allows you to use a keyboard and mouse to control games on your XBox 360, then you could save yourself th...

I didn't even read all the posts in this thread, but I can promise you that learning C will do you the most good. All higher level programming languages are built on top of C. That being said, now-a-days it's hard to find a simple C compiler/IDE for Windoze, so I'm going to recommend that you downlo...

I'd advise you to have a On/Off switch for the R4DS so you can get to the original DS menu to re calibrate the touchsceen and use Pictochat :P Couldn't you just buy another card though? Some of the newer ones are far superior than the R4DS as they support clean roms so you don't get problems with g...

internal DS flash cart mod
Does anyone know if there's enough room inside a DS lite case to do an internal flash cart mod. I've got an R4, and it works great....most of the time. The problem stems from poor connections, and doing an internal mod would eliminate that problem altogether. I've never opened my DS, and I don't hav...

I've recently been looking into the same thing, and here's what I know. The microcontrollers in ball mice count pluses of light to determine how far it has traveled in any direction, and then sends the data to the computer in a serial transmission. I was looking into trying to find a way to connect ...
