3.5 Inch TFT LCD Problem
Yup feed it 12v and a video signal and see if it works. I just count the white flash on start up as a way of making sure it works.

You could also RGH it and run the games off a HDD and get rid of the dvd drive completely.

^What he said. I may (and I mean MAY!) have a Nesp in a XL soft case to sell after this summer. Would probably ask 300ish for it. How ever I can make no promises about actually building it or completion time would be.

It doesn't look too hard but if you can track down what kind of PMP he used to build it, or a substitute you might be able to get somebody to build one for you at 250$-300$. Also link to said youtuber?

I'm not sure about lead-acids but I think there that there is still a discharge rate on them. Then the discharge rate has to be high enough to actually output the amps needed.
