360 Memory Units
I was given a 360 memory unit the other day and got to thinking that it would be awesome to mount an SD card reader inside of. Yes, I know that I could just use a usb stick or a usb reader, but I wanted to see if it was possible to do this. My real question is this: are the memory unit ports just mo...

Re: DIY SFC Wii Classic Controller
Definitely still interested, but it may be a week or two before I actually "order" these. The holidays weren't as generous as I'd hoped. I was wondering something, though. Would it be possible to mount this in the female end of a SNES extension cable and thus have compatibility with any controller I...

Re: Re: DIY SFC Wii Classic Controller
I believe retrousb still has SNES adapters for Gamecube available. They advertise them for Wii, but they go in the Gamecube ports. A little Googling and you should find them with no problem.Diminuendo wrote:lol I meant a SNES controller to GC rather than SNES to wii

Re: DIY SFC Wii Classic Controller
That's simple enough. I'm in for two. What's the timeframe on this project?

Re: DIY SFC Wii Classic Controller
I am super duper interested in this project. I definitely want one, possibly two or three. With the assembled board, how much work is left to be done before I have a fully working controller? I'm decent at soldering, but know nothing about programming chips and arduinos and whatnot. Sent from my SGH...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
An N64 shouldn't set you back but about ten bucks or so. I picked up a gold one with no cords at a goodwill for ten a few years ago. Worked beautifully and came with an expansion pak!

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
Thanks for your reply, marshall. Could I send you a donor cart for it or is that not something you offer? I totally understand you have a bajillion cart orders and doing custom stuff like this may not be possible, but I figured it's worth asking. Really looking forward to the progress of your vga mo...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread
I ordered mine at the end of February and I'm going insane with the waiting. How were all of you so patient?! I'm so excited to get this thing. Also, has anyone done a tutorial on putting in the 6105? I've sent two emails to marshall, but he's a busy man these days, so it's understandable that I hav...

Re: Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Quite frankly this is such a good idea I may pursue something exactly like this, as long as you don't mind. This goes for me, too. How difficult would it be to convert some of the top-loading disc systems to work with slot-loading trays? Also, could you theoretically do rgb mods on each system or m...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Thanks for the welcome. I've been reading for a long time, but this is one of the first projects on here which I've felt I had any good ideas for feedback on. There are so many possibilities here! You could integrate a 32X in the Genesis slot and it would be AMAZING if you could somehow make a SegaC...

Re: Super All In One Console Project.
Are you using a toploader or front loader NES? If it's a toploader, it'll be neat if you still include all of the spring loaded doors for each system. If you're using a frontloader, it might be neat to have the cartridge slot in a drive bay. Also, I'm pretty sure this is my first post, so...hi every...
