Re: Venturer PVS1977S Car DVD Player (2nd Screen) RGB hack.
Sorry to bump a somewhat old thread. I just happened to find a DAEWOO dpc-7301n portable dvd player that has a similar video encoder to yours. I have no devices that output RGB so I have no way to test it, but I have an n64 that is capable of RGB, but before I do anything with it I wanted to see if ...

Re: SNES Bad Cap & Other Component. Need Help Finding Parts.
You could pull a cap with the same values from an old motherboard or something, it would probably work just fine. That way you could determine what you need to buy, or just leave it like that if it works.

Re: Going to be starting a SNESp soon, had one question about AV
sounds like that should work fine, cause it's all just straight through the only thing I'd be worried about, is the case will have to be designed so that the av port doesnt get in the way of anything inside this pic is for the n64, but you get the point http://img279.imageshack.us/img279/7915/n64p8l...

Re: Direct Wiring the A/V Cables
It should work fine that way, I imagine you could run them to any grounding point on the motherboard

Re: FC Twin Video help!!!!!!!
According to grahf on page 2 of the thread posted below, it is not possible to get composite without the extended board, so you would have to connect your video either to that board, or connect through rgb, which is also explained in the thread below if you're using the ps1 screen, then rgb is defin...

Re: my portable n64.. work in progress
Cartridge slot is relocated, and working, right now I am working on powering it with batterys. The battery pack im using is from the dvd player, it says it puts out 7.4v 3400mA. There are 4 cells, each one putting out 3.7v, so all 4 equal up to 14.8v, 2 of them equal 7.4v so im not sure what im gonn...

Re: my portable n64.. work in progress
Thanks, it was just a cutting disc. I made a mistake somewhere, because this motherboard no longer works, it might have been broken already, but I did play mariokart on it a few months ago, guess that's what I get for not testing it before cutting it, and relocating the cart slot  ... oh w...

Re: my portable n64.. work in progress
Well I spent most of the day cutting, and trimming down boards. I found a place for everything, and it all fits into the case, but there is still much work to be done, so I cant really say it will all fit nicely in the end, but I think I can make it work somehow here's what I've done so far.. http:/...

my portable n64.. work in progress
Hi everyone, I'm new to the site, but not so new to mods, fabrication, and that sort of stuff. I built an snes portable back in 07, but it was poorly put together and had a few issues, so it ended up breaking.. and I was tired of messing with it. Both the snes and n64 were a HUGE part of my childhoo...
