Re: I need battery help
Yes batteries from radioshack work. For you application however I have no idea. Check the voltage you need and the voltage the battery gives.

Re: PsX portable Guide?
It has been done here a few times (the last model of the PS1 had a smaller board than the PSOne (in surface area anyway) ). But there won't be any good guides on how to do it, you'll have to figure most of it out. Of course if you don't need it to be really small it's fairly easy to use stock connec...

Personally I would just do the dreamcast and use a DC genesis emulator.

Re: Will 8.5V kill a psone screen?
The answer is no BTW, I got bored and figured I'd try. Works fine, I probably wouldn't run it for long like that but nothing bad happened, and I learned the idiot who owned the screen before me took it apart (more like ripped) and half the screw posts were broken clean off (he obviously didn't know ...

Will 8.5V kill a psone screen?
I only have an 8.5V power adapter from a PS2 slim and the plug fits but I obviously don't want to try it until I know if 1 more volt will fry it or not. I just want to test to make sure the screen works so it wouldn't be for an extended period of time.

Re: Big Button Controller- Need to write Windows Driver
This isn't really a coding forums, this forum revolves more around hardware hacking and portablizing game consoles. For writing software drivers I have no idea where you'd go, although it is something I'd like to learn myself, so if you find any good resources please post them back here.

Re: 360 Elite, Hdmi, and Sound.
DVI will not carry audio so if your doing HDMI to DVI you will lose the sound so you'll have to pull analog sound from the A/V port.

PS2P using USB ADVANCE, Anyone done it?
I wanted to build a PS2 portable and eliminate the disc drive (although admitedy that wouldnt take much off the already slimline console). I've already modded the PS2 with freeMCboot but the compatability is around 30% of loading games off the IDE drive on a fat PS2. Has anyone done this yet and is ...

Re: NES lockout chip damaged
ones got some of the orange stuff cracked off the leg (I assume the orange stuff is ceramic) and the other does look a little fubared. I can just get a variety pack from radio shack and replace it with the same type can't I? I can also try to clean the connector and see if I can make it tighter. I'l...
