Hey Threedog, I've got the same problem on 1 of my 2 NES's, and actually tried the same things. I did replace the Lockout Chip with one from a game, but still got the same problems. Now I've tried everything, also did some stuff on the PPU (pin 21) and some other things I can't recall. Nothing worke...

Hey Mikeyman64, I think the problem might be the chip called: 3195A (c)1986 Nintendo 9034 A -=- OR -=- 3195A (c)1986 Nintendo 9115A I'd say, get a game you don't play much or hate, or just get a cheap second hand game. De-solder that chip from a game cart, and replace the one in your NES with the on...
