Very nice work! Very interested to seeing what you do with this
It seems weird to me calling it a slim without modding the hard drive and removing the diskdrive but kudos for sticking with the stock version. Very interested to see where you'll get with that approach!

Xbox; Modchip or softmodding?
Hey guys, I wanted your input on what I should do with my xbox. I just recently bought one expanding my console collection a little more and I have to say I like the xbox but I want to expand my possibilities with it. I've been browsing the internet and I can't get around whats best softmodding or i...

Re: NES mod questions (power and regulation, cartridge slot etc)
But... that's just the problem! did you look at that part number? it's got a 0.1" (2.54mm) pitch, not 2.5mm like the NES cartridge has!...... Oops, my bad. That's what I get for copy-pasting between threads. I'd say finding a Game Genie or clone would be your best bet then. I'm planning on u...

Grey screen caused by noob lockout chip pin removal?
Hey guys, So I got myself another nes to fiddle with (came with no cables for 9 dollars) but when I turned it on I noticed it was blinking plus producing no picture whatsoever. So I decided to open her up and try for the first time to remove pin 4 from the lockout chip. (I also noticed that the prev...

Re: NES VCR?
I don't know my toaster at home is plastic to so with using the standard insulation on it it should not melt I think. Though I think it would be very hard to match the toaster slot with the cartslot of the nes since most toasters have the slot in the middle. still vcr would rule and a vcr is cheap t...

Ah great to hear! Looking forward to your new progress!
What screen did you buy? Did it cost much? (I'm really having a difficult time finding a big enough screen for a fair price)

Store ad lcd tv useable for portable?
Hey guys, So I bought this little lcd tv on a fleamarket. It was really cheap and judging by the looks of it, I guess it was used in a store to advertise "roundup". The screen is 18 cm diagonal (7.2 inch) and takes SD and USB input. It also has a potentiometer on the side which controls the volume o...

Re: NES VCR?
Cool sound awesome! Can't wait to see it!
No idea about the vhs though. I think a dvd player would be by far the easiest, but a vhs player would be awesome!
(random idea, why not build a toaster in the nes case? I've seen toasters turned into a nes before but never the other way around :p )
