Question about the Tremor Pack Plus

Just recently purchased one of these things for a dollar. It both rumbles and has a slot for the memory card, selectable by switch. Now when I put a memory card in it, and flip the switch, it tells me that my memory card is damaged. Does the same thing in rumble pack mode. This is on Turok Dino Hunt...

Re: My N64 portable Progress so far

Nice, I love how small it is. l was going to try and make mine as small as possible but I fried my cut down board and had to fall back on one that was regular size. You could always solder a headphone jack in, then you wouldn't need any speakers, only headphones. An mp3 player doesn't have speakers ...

Re: Half-Fried???

When you flip the switch does the power light come on? Do the chips get hot? You might have a bad trace. Try testing your video closer to the RCP.

Re: printed circuits

When you've butchered as many third party controllers as I have, you end up with a collection of those stupid things. They are basically a tiny silicon board with the two halves printed on there. One goes to ground and the other goes to power. Problems is to use them you have to find some way to mou...

Re: N64p General Tips and Recommendations?

My advice is try not to solder directly to the board as much as possible. Leave metal stubs for the controller pins and the video\power. And check your voltage, then check it again before you plug it into you board. Also molex connectors. Get them from dead hard drives and power supplies. They work ...

Re: What's the best Dremel for my project?

As long as it runs at high speed and the chuck can take most dremel bits it will work. You aren't going to be putting that much strain on the motor anyway, since you'll mostly be cutting plastic and thin metal.

I ordered one of each. The pth80808waz, the pth80808wah, and the pth80808was I think.

I know it costs TI fifteen dollars to ship them, but I consider it an investment in my electronics education. Thanks, TI.

Re: Two N64 Controllers On One Port

I figured that. It would take me two seconds to rig up a switch that changes the ground wires.

Two N64 Controllers On One Port

My portable is 98% done. I'll post pics of it when I get a chance. Now it has built in controls by a N64 controller board inside the case. My question is this, if I then attach an adapter that runs outside the case for an external controller can I damage the board? Let me clarify, two N64 controller...

Re: Sharp Nintendo Televison Help needed

Just read up on it on Wikipedia.

Can this thing play NES games or Famicom games? And it's possible that the tube is toast, it is pretty old.

You can get them as free samples from Texas Instruments web site. Or order the equivalent from Digikey.
