Re: GBC to TV?
Modding your GBC to work with a NES controller is certainly easier than hooking the GBC to a TV. Many people has done it before. There's this thread about doing it on a GBC (you can found the mappings here) http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=25719&start=0" onclick="window.open(this.href)...

Re: GBC to TV?
It's not simple. It's.... really hard. I couldn't tell you exactly how hard it is, maybe some of the Gameboy Pros can. If you really want to play your GBC games on your TV, buy a Super Nintendo and a Super Game Boy 2 (Japan). As I said, maybe one of the GB experts can explain better. EDIT: http://ww...

Re: DMG Modding
Woah, that's an awesome project.
Pretty cool! I would try it, but I'm currently broke, so it has to wait....
Thanks for the comments. A buddy gave me his old DMGs, they're 5, and now I can mod to my hearts content. I'll definitely try that frontlight mod done by Bibin.
Thanks.

YOU ARE A FREAKIN GENIUS!!!
I did what you said, and it's finally working.
It printed the test page like seven times, but now its fully working.
Thanks a lot!

Help with Epson LX300
Not sure if this is the right place to ask.... I have a problem with an Epson LX300 printer. My OS is Windows XP, and even though the driver is in there, the printer is not working. It turns on, everything seems fine. I'm using the LPT1 port. Windows is configured to use the original Epson driver. I...

Re: Overclocking your GBA
Hi, I tried to overclock my DMG with an 8 MHZ crystal, I solder the wire to the older oscillator, but... nothing happens. The Gameboy runs at normal speed. If I put the wires to the original crystal while the console its on, it won't do anything, or it will crash and erase my savegame (I lost my 250...

Re: Dmg/Gbc external LED mod
Well, you're welcome!
No need to change the color of the LEDs.
Just diffuse them with some sandpaper.
Search on Google for "diffuse leds" and you should find the best method. Not difusing them, however, may cause you to have headaches. At least that happens to me.

Re: Dmg/Gbc external LED mod
There's no need to drill anything. I'm currently doing the same thing to my DMG, and I got really good results. Soon, I will finish it, and post pics and a tutorial. I'm using two white LEDs, and, believe,me it's enough. With my system, the lights can be turned ON and OFF, if you think it will drain...

Re: DMG Modding
Did my username seriously filter to 'crap'? I didn't do anything. Is there some sort of "username censoring" in the forums? Well, back on topic... But yeah, you can use a cellphone battery. If it is the right voltage you can Thanks for your replies! I'm almost done with my external frontlit DMG. Th...

Fixing DMG Cart (Rockman World 2)
Hiya! Well, I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this, but if it isn't, just tell me, and I'll move it! Yesterday, I got a Gameboy cart from a friend. It's MegaMan 2 (also know as Rockman World 2). I popped it into my DMG, and the thing just won't boot. There are three things that can happ...

So, I can take it out of a broken cellphone?
Or it must be bought/made?

Re: DMG Modding
I don't mean to be discouraging, but you will not, under any circumstances, get good results with using pcb mount LEDs. They're not designed for front lighting, you need something else to distribute the light. The only practical way to do this would be like I said, make it external and have the led...

Re: DMG Frontlight
Well, that's quite dissapointing... No matter what happens, I will NEVER try to backlight my DMG. It's the last Gameboy I have, and I really dont want to lose it. In my country, it's really hard to buy things like backlighting kits or polarized films, and such. So, I think I'll try things on my own ...
