Power draw question.
I'm working on connecting a flat screen to draw directly from the xbox 360 psu. Its a falcon board psu. The screen input is 100v 1.5amps. I know the screen psu steps down to 5vdc so I don't want to tie it to xbox360 5vdc because I keep reading that this may overload 5vdc from the 360 psu. Is it plau...

Re: Which Monitor?
Well I bought a Compaq s1922a today because it was the only 18.5" the local best buy had with built in speakers and jack. I went with best buy because I had a gift card that covered 80% of the cost $-)
I'll crack it open later this week and see what I have to work with. Here's hoping!

Re: Complete PS1 Portable
Sorry I'm fairly new here and shouldn't have thrown the word portable around so loosely. Just to clarify so you don't get the idea that its a custom portable, its an original ps1 mobile with ps1 lcd. Photo links below. PM me if interested. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/3049/img20110131223950.jp...

Very useful info thanks.humakabula1 wrote:i cant help with the brand name part but i can say this;
popular screens are the ones with inbuilt speakers, i can tell you its a lot easier to merge psu's if you pick a screen that has its own power brick. (older ones)

Pelican case 360 monitor cabling advice

I am wondering if anyone has input on whether it is better to hardwire the monitor to the mobo, or because of the extra space the pelican case allows for, cut and splice vga cable/port to xbox proprietary cab...
