broken superjoy???

I've got the insides of a superjoy that at one time was working off of a 7.4v battery. Left it sitting around in the "to do" pile for a year or so and now I cant get it to work. I give it power and I get either a solid color screen (blue, white, grey, etc.) or a screen with a seemingly random patter...

Re: Please help me identify this NOAC

Thanks again.
Next question : ),
I'm looking at the 3.5" lcd's on ebay.
Do you generally have to backlight mod those like you would do with a psone screen?
Whats the minimum voltage those generally run on?

Re: Please help me identify this NOAC

What pinout are you needing? the superjoy has a famicom cart slot on it, so the pins in the cart slot should all be the same. BTW, nice touch with the beer bottle caps 8) Now that I think about it, I dont really need a pinout for this lol. Is it safe to assume the controller connector is pinned for...

Please help me identify this NOAC

I bought this NOAC some time ago. It had no case or anyway of identifying it when I bought it. Can anyone please help me identify it, then hopefully I can find a pin out for it. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/BFALSE/IMG_20120721_224700.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/BFALSE/IMG_201207...

Re: Portable NES (take 2) Superjoy/casio770

The portable tv doesnt have composite video in natively just an rf jack. From reading on the forum and from various sites on google I was able to get the a composite signal displayed by going through the m51348fp chip. I was doing further testing today and for the life of me I cant get the video to ...

Re: Another super joy portable

Are you powering it off of the batteries now? If so how many AA are you using? I was originally trying to power my superjoy with like 2 or 3 AA batteries. Thats only like 3-4.5 volts. It would turn on and give me a random color on my tv. I started powering it with a camcorder battery, 7.4 volts, and...

Portable NES (take 2) Superjoy/casio770

After frying my nes I'm looking at making a portable NOAC. I'll be using a super joy and a casio 770 handheld tv all powered off some camcorder batteries. I already have like 80% of my supplies, just waiting on a family converter and still have to order a polycase once AI figure out how big this thi...

Re: Nes grey screen

Really struggling to figure this out... I'm getting a grey screen, usually not flashing but sometime it will. Sometimes I get random graphical artifacts with the grey. Occasionally I can get a random solid color blue, green, red, etc. The 7805 voltage regulator is putting out like 4.5 volts when it'...
