Re: Custom LCD Bezel.
As for mounting I bet I could use some sort of VESA mount or something along the lines of that. Keep me posted if you find any of those links please.

Re: Custom LCD Bezel.
There are lots of LCD controllers on eBay from as little as $30 shipped. You need the maker and model number off the back of the LCD itself to find a compatible controller and get a proper cable made. As for a bezel/mount, I've seen people make a custom one out and plexiglass/lexan and people just ...

Custom LCD Bezel.
I've taken apart a netbook, and I took the LCD out. I'm currently looking for a decent priced controller, because the resolution of this monitor would be nice for my IRC chat, and system temps. After that is done, I need a bezel to mount everything into. Basically, I'd be interested in seeing Ben do...

Re: Xbox 360 PC?
I was thinking I'd need something along the lines of 400w. Is there A way I can use a laptop PSU, though? 120w won't do the job.

Xbox 360 PC?
Basically, I just want to mod a dead 360 into a PC. I know this has been done before, but who cares. I want to try for myself. So, here is what I was thinking of for parts: 1.) Dead 360. Preferably RROD. 2.) Mini-ITX AM3 Motherboard 3.) AM3 Processor - Sempron 140, or 145. Preferably an Athlon II 25...

Re: Build a PCI Slot blower fan?
since it it a low profile card I don't think this would work. I might have to pick up a cheap nvidia 5 or 6 series card that is non-functional. take the heatsink off and use that. or I could just make the whole thing out of plastic?

The fan will just blow onto the PCB though. Should I put the fan on short risers or something?

Re: Build a PCI Slot blower fan?
sorry for double posting. i meant its just a dummy card? It wasn't a dummy card until my brother fried it. It is low profile with a full length bracket. I want to use a dremel to cut the connections off and use the PCB to mount everything onto. The Bracket has screws on it so I could take it off an...

Re: Build a PCI Slot blower fan?
Yeah, I was probably going to mount two 60mm fans if they fit or an 80. (Slim fans) I wouldn't like to use more than two spots max, thats why I say slim fans. I think I might hook the fan(s) up to a controller which will be mounted on my vertical slot or the slot above it. So use sheet plastic to ch...

Re: Build a PCI Slot blower fan?
Because I can. Exactly. Buying a cheap peice of plastic on the net isn't fun.
Buying cheap pieces of plastic and putting them together is fun. But... How would I do this?

Build a PCI Slot blower fan?
I've got a passively cooled video card (GT 430) and it gets rather hot in my case because of it. I was wondering if it would be possible to build a PCI Slot blower fan like these? http://www.amazon.com/Cyclo-Pci-Slot-Blue-Led/dp/B000SAJJX6/ref=pd_cp_e_2 http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-A2414-80mm-B...
