Re: A couple of questions in regards to building a portable NES
A NES-101 Top-Loader is region free however cutting a NES-101 up is not a good idea. Using a cheap NES clone would be better and they are region free too.

Re: Best 8Bit system Original/Clones
All clones have a few game that don't work with them. I can't speek for Wireless Controllers on a NES. Since you like the like the 2 in 1's you can read about them here. http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22958" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re...

Yobo FC boards are small but may cost more.

Re: full sized portable nes
I would like to see it, if it could be done. Most of it could be done but the "id like to have games stored internaly" I don't think could be done. If you pop off the expansion port cover and cut the lower case a bit you may be able to hide a controller under it.

Re: Painting case?
When I painted my NES controller I had to strip it once and I used DOT-3 brake fluid. It didn't hurt it. If you have some around you may that that.HotDog-Cart wrote: Ofcourse, its like IMPOSSIBLE to get that stuff off. (Without using paintthinner, but paint thinner would damage the plastic, wouldnt it?)
