Re: FPGA Dev boards
That's exactly what I used last fall for my digital design class, it's great. That and there are a handful of projects on Hackaday of people using the DE2 board (or equivalent) for neat stuff. Now the Quartus II software that we used with it, it was...interesting, but it got the job done.

Re: Any EE's out there?
I'm in my third year going along a Computer Engineering major. If you're unsure about EE or CPE, it's only been starting this year that I've seen EE majors actually take classes apart from CPE majors (save for programming classes for us). I wouldn't know about an EE minor, though, as the engineering...

Hehe, newp, still alive. As for my ISP speed, I believe it's unexpectedly more than we pay for.gamemasterAS wrote:I thought you were dead.

They're bound to do that eventually. Like Ben said, Nintendo just seems to resell their old games (which is pointless to me, I already have them, shouldn't pay for them again).Gamelver wrote:a virtual-console like handheld, where you can download old games for affordable prices and play them on the handheld!

This reminds me of when my aunt raised an abandoned kitten (ironically from one of my cats I dropped off near her place). That thing was trained very well, now the cat's spayed/declawed (and still tries to claw the chairs, looks really funny) and takes notice of my aunt's new baby. Most of <a href="...

Took the US HIstory, Biology and English Lang. and Comp. exams last year. I got two 3s and a 4 on the Biology one (I am also going to have 3 more this week). Personal advice: I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's not going to count against you in the class, and if you do get a 3 or better, then k...

So he opened the box to show that he was really sending a NES instead of a brick... At least he didn't open any of the inner packaging. What's the big deal? Is this the only new-in-box NES around? He could've also posted some video on youtube where he'd just light the box on fire and take everythin...

If you feel pressed to try out linux (it's not too bad if the wireless would just work...), then try this distro chooser where you do a quiz that tries to give you the best choice of distro.
