Any schematics or resources to look at for doing such. There's only a hand full of A/V Switch DIY's out there and i dont want to go the micro circuit / switch route if possible. And i dont need the video portion to be amplified as it works perfectly as is.
Thanks for the replies!!

Re: Need help with A/V Switch I built
I've got a JL Audio 250 watt amp pushing to Alpine 12's (Old stuff) but they work no problems...but the signals go into the radio direct... and then the subs plug into the radio separately. so you saying they should go to the amp first? not quite sure i understand what you mean. Thanks for the reply

Need help with A/V Switch I built
I've recently updated my Car's A/V Switch as the first one wasn't very aesthetic, and i knew i could do better...So heres the problem. I built the A/V Switch so my Ipod/Ipad and Iphone could both be hooked up at the same time to my Car Stereo. One of my build criteria was so that both Audio Sources ...

HP dm1z-3200 LCD Screen Slider/Touch Screen
I'd really like to have my hp dm1z become a tablet/pc hybrid like the new samsung/asus touchscreen sliding netbooks. Possibly adding usb 3.0 using the extra mini-pcie slot. I'd be willing to have my dm1z used for the mod and pay good money =PP but honestly taking on the original proof of concept ben...

Re: HP Pavillion dm1z-3200 mods
I too, have been using my googling/ebay skills as of late and have found many mini-pci-e cards but only 2 or 3 usb 3.0 one's and the cards all require molex or some sort of power. Not sure where we'd get that from the computer and not wanting to jump right into soldering. Funny thing is thou if i co...

HP Pavillion dm1z-3200 mods
So, i've recently purchased an HP dm1z-3200 - AMD Fusion chip and so far it's an excellent netbook. The fan noise everyone complains about (other site reviews) i've not heard them once. Dont get it. Either way I digress. Plays 1080p footage, streams wirelessly from server pc, and running windows 7 u...

Xbox Kinect Ideas
Anyone think it would be possible to replace the rgb camera in the kinect with the live vision camera or since it does require auto focus that may be out of the question but then what about the HD Lifecam one of the 720p models? Just curious if this would even be possible. It would be a great additi...

Converting Gateway 7340 Laptop Monitor to standalone..
Well, been following Ben here for a long time, just finally decided it was time to register on the boards. I've actually come across a Gateway 7340 Laptop. Almost everything works except some fault on the internals. I was able to boot it up a couple of times and even got so far as to try and format ...
