Re: VGA output via fpga

Is there any difference if I would use a PAL or NTSC N64 as base for your HDMI modification together with an 64drive as long as I have the corresponding cic inside the 64drive? Basicly will NTSC games played from an 64Drive on a PAL N64 with the HDMI mod look the same and play as fast as when played...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread

Two suggestions: - When selecting between Browse, Options and About the menu expects the analog stick to change from 0 to another state, some analog sticks don't reset back to 0 when you let them go making the selection a little hard. You should incorporate a little deadzone here. - When selecting a...

Re: N64 ROM region patcher needed (NTSC to PAL)

There is a program called paladin you could try. With it you have different options how to patch a rom to another region. For example you can just disable the region lock or even convert the videomode from ntsc to pal, afaik there are some audio bugs when you convert a 30hz game to 25hz.

Re: VGA output via fpga

Do you plan to add extra things like this: http://www.iryoku.com/smaa/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or anything similar to enhance the picture quality beyond what is possible with just the N64 alone? Or would that be to much to handle for the fpga? Would it be possible for the 64dr...

Re: Cart emulator progress thread

Could you please post a picture of your blue 64drive? I always wondered what it would look like in a colored cartridge :D As for suggestions: If you press C-Down the game list is really scrolling super fast. Maybe one( 8) ) could make it so that if you press C-Right the game list just skips to the n...

Re: Has anyone ever though of PS1Online?

You could do it the same way that the OnLive service works. Meaning: One "Server PS1". This is the PS1 where the game runs on. Also the 1st players plays it there. The video signal from this PS1 is streamed via the internet just like with the OnLive service with the help as a "little magic box" thas...

Re: Bought an RGB modded N64, need advice

Have you payed with paypal? If yes file a dispute and you will get your money back. This is unacceptable.
After you got your money back you can still try to fix it with some decend soldering job. :D

Re: Cart emulator progress thread

Afaik the tracking only knows two states "send" and "received". So right now you know that the seller has send the item and when you receive it the status will change to received so the seller on the other hand knows that you have received it. It's not supposed to be realtime location tracking
