I've got a Snes-mini that doesn't seem to work. I took it apart and found that the cart slot is covered in corrosion/rust/something. What is the best way to remove this?

WTB: Snes Power Switch
This is kind of an odd request, but I'm fixing up a Super NES, and its power switch is broke. I can't seem to find any switches that are the right size to fit in there. Does anyone happen to have one they can sell? Or know of somewhere I can order a switch that is the same size/shape? (It's an origi...

Re: wireless n64 controller
my recommendation for everyone who brings this up... ...cube64 It allows you to use a gamecube controller on an N64, and it supports button remapping as well as wireless controllers and rumble packs. Have you tested it with wireless controllers? I know that the Wavebird isn't supported, but I never...

Re: NES repair attempt = fail
The 72 pin connector is the problem. Try using a new one.

They shouldn't be allowed to call it unlimited when it really isn't.

Re: Video Amp
Just try using the transistors and resistors that you have. As long as they are NPN type, it's not very likely that it would break anything.

You can try using any NPN transistor. Some will work, some won't.

Re: A few NOAC questions
Question 1! Which part of the NOAC is the actual NOAC? Is the part with the cart slot the main board or is the part with the controller contacts the main board? It's the part with the cart slot. Question 2! It may be silly to start with something so hard, but I'd like to try something like G-force'...

Re: NES with all games project
How well does it play the games? I tried that emulator years ago, and it was extremely slow and had weird audio.

Re: Flashing NES
However, if you tighten the pins on the existing connector, it's actually possible to get them too tight, which would cause the games' contacts to wear down.

Yes, you can use the IC on a pc board. As long as you remember the resistors, it will work fine.

Re: Hello! And flash carts!?
The PowerPak would probably be the best solution. However, it will only work on a real NES (and supposedly on the first version of the RetroDuo).
