Complete NES Super 8 systems for sale
I listed all my assembled NES Super 8 systems left after the pre-orders on Tindie.com. I was able to build these faster by doing several at a time, so they are cheaper than my earlier estimates. I really worked hard making these the highest quality. https://www.tindie.c...ystem-complete/" onclick="w...

Re: HandyNES inspired by NES controller commission
ha ha I was joking. The v2.0 Super 8 board is same size as v1.1, but can be trimmed more than v1.1 because of the rear ports on board which wouldn't be needed for a portable. If you haven't installed parts on v1.1 yet, PM me and I'll send a free v2.0. Also, it's as close to original hardware as you ...

Re: HandyNES inspired by NES controller commission
I thought you were going to use the Super 8 PCB I sent.
oh well.
Very nice work, but I can't help but imagine how things would have turned out using a NES Super 8.
I have a smaller PCB v2.0 if you'd like

Ebay copyright infringement claim abuse by Nintendo and Sega
Check out my phony ebay listing that gives some insight in a problem anyone selling game systems on ebay has had one time or another. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181147801601" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Nintendo has removed my Super 8 system simply because t...

Re: I built a NES pretty much from scratch.
The cartridge slot is Digikey part #A31721-ND.
It isn't the exact same pitch as the original connector, but it is so close that it works fine and I've never had a problem.

I built a NES pretty much from scratch.
Behold the NES Super 8! The NES Super 8 is a new video game console that plays Nintendo NES games using the original CPU and PPU chips. This is as close to a real NES system as you can get and plays games exactly like the original system. All new components are used with the exception of the 2 origi...

Re: FS: Various mod circuits I designed
Links fixed.
The RGB helper is a RGB amplifier and sync separator. It can be used to RGB mod the NES, Turbografx, or Nintendo 64.
I am open to offers. Thanks!

FS: Various mod circuits I designed
I designed these circuit boards for various modding purposes, some are assembled, some kits, some are just the pcb. All include instructions. All circuits require regulated 5v except the colecovision video amp. 1. Stereo amplifier 2W x 2 great for PS3 or XBOX laptop project; nice sound headphone jac...

Re: audio amps.
The Texas Instruments tpa6021a4 chip is an excellent 2w stereo amp with headphone jack support. I used it in 2 of my laptops and it works great! I also have a couple PCBs with digital volume control for sale if you're interested....

Re: Approx price for a PS3p?
I would have to say paying $4,000 or more for a PS3 or XBOX laptop is crazy, unless most of the proceeds are going to a good charity or something. My TIG welded aluminum / polystyrene PS3 laptop sold for $1,200 and was far more durable than foamed PVC construction. It may just be me, but I consider ...

Re: FS: Cheap PSP UMD drive doesn't work
[insert shameless bump here]
I will sell it for $30 shipped.
I'm selling it because I already have 3 PSPs (one of each model) and a Vita pre-ordered. Also open to trades. Everything works fine except the UMD drive.

Re: Atari 5200 s-video mod and digital controller interface
I recently finished the latest version of both circuits, the v2.0 s-video mod and v1.2 of the digital controller interface. Since the Atari 5200's Achilles heel is it's poor quality standard controllers and odd switchbox RF output, these circuits should be most useful to the Atari 5200 enthusiast. T...

FS: Cheap PSP 2000 (non working UMD drive) SOLD
I am selling a blue PSP system that works fine except the UMD drive. Has a few issues: Battery cover is missing. Has been opened before. In fairly rough condition. Runs games off the memory stick fine, screen in good shape. Has a PSP 1000 style battery included with decent capacity left. Firmware 6....

Re: nes 72 pin connector tech
Yep, unfortunately the replacement 72 pin NES cart connectors are poor quality. They're often advertised as being gold plated, but I doubt any of them contain any gold, just "gold coloring." The replacement connector I purchased was too tight and I had to force the cartridge in. Even then it didn't ...
