I was already planning on adding heatsinks onto it and a fan is usually not needed for most portables. I just want to know if my n64 will hold up if I add a fan. It's going to be pretty tight but I'm a good amount of vent holes. But I also want to know if the overclock will even work at all (since I...

Well if you plan on bridging the power switch and using the player ports then yes you solder the holes.

Are you talking about the extension port on the bottom of the n64? If so you don't need to fill them up.

Would it be a bad idea to overclock my n64?
My n64 is NUS-CPU-03 and I want to add a overclock switch to it for my portable. Would it be okay to do as long as I use a fan and proper heatsinks? Also if it's doable how do I have a fan run off the n64?

When I mean expansion port for n64 controller I mean't the port on the controller that is for memory cart, rumble pak, ect.
