Give it up for your greatest video game accomplishments
So let's all pat ourselves on the back and compile a list of our greatest achievements. I'm old so most of mine are a little dated. Here are a few that I remember. - Missile Command for the Atari 2600 - Flipped it twice when I was 9. I musta been a prodigy when it came to that game. It wasn't even m...
Re: Fume-0
I opted out of putting a resistor on the LED. The LED was already pretty dim.
Re: Fume-0

Been a long, long time since I've posted anything. Way distracted by WoW right after I began relocating cartridge slots on my future portable(s). Now that WoW is boring again mere months after the expansion, I got back to another distraction. Only this one had a purpose with the amount of soldering ...

Re: Possible good find for anyone doing a portable DC
Thanks for the tip. Something I always thought was funny was the measure of conductivity as opposed to resistance. What's funny about that you say? Well the unit of course.. mho ohm backwards.. I encounter it on a daily basis in regards to the chemical treatment of water.. fascinating stuff.. Did I ...

Re: Taking the plunge
The wife is back from N'Orleans so very little time has been spent on the cart relocation. It appears the problems I had the night before have been rectified. I was able to do 17 traces in about 10 minutes. Half way there on the board side or 25% overall. I really hope to get it working this weekend...

Re: Taking the plunge
A night that started with great anticipation an excitement turned into one of torture and despair. I ripped that extension piece off the bottom of the board which of course renders the cart slot useless. It was then where my cart relocation woes began. I had such high hopes of doing the work of a tr...

According to what I found it is a universal adapter allowing import carts to be played on a PAL SNES. The imports in this case being NTSC and JP.

It's official. I bartered a Home Depot gift card for a Kobalt hydraulic chair from Lowe's.. What are mom's for?? BARTERING!! Now I'm livin' large, ridin' high, and no longer placing my buttocks on my kids' Step2 (tm) play table.. I mean.. It's a table.. not even a chair.. I've been sitting on a 2 fo...
