Re: 360 laptop for sale
Im sorry, your right. Im silly to think that someone would sell a working xbox laptop that was of professional quality and build for wayy LESS money then this working one. Unless he was selling a broken and therefore lowered the price to get more customers. What he did is sell a Rolls Royce claimin...

Re: 360 laptop for sale
Weaver it is not your fault. If an item is damaged during transit it is the shipping service's fault. You don't even have to refund the money. That's how it works on eBay, and with most private sales. If you were not guaranteed a refund if you wanted one, you don't get to cry about it. This inciden...

Re: 360 laptop for sale
I suggest lowering your price a bit... I don't think anyone would pay $900 for an xbox with a screen on it. I know it's JTAGGed and has built in speakers, but you can buy JTAGs for the price of an xbox nowadays. The price has been lowered see my 2nd last post. $750 with 250GB HDD and $650 with 2 x ...

Re: 1st 360 laptop finished!
Mind if I offer some suggestions? Using the old style heatpipe CPU heatsink on the GPU is a good idea, but I think you may need to rotate it 90 degrees so it makes full contact with the GPU and RAM heat spreaders. Of course you would have to reposition the fans. I think the heat pipe gets in the wa...

Re: 1st 360 laptop finished!
Yes I wanted to solder the power for the monitor right to the brick but, I don't know where the 12v line is on the psu. I guess I need to open it up and use my multimeter but, the screws on the power brick are all stripped. Also I didn't make it to make money. I made this because I wanted to and I'm...

Re: 1st 360 laptop finished!
nice work!, im curious as to how it can play backup's off the hard drive though, is that part of microsofts inbuilt feature or has the 360 been softmodded OR does the jtag cover that? The jtag allows the system to run homebrew/unsigned code and run back-ups. There's even a snes emulator on there bu...
