top loading 360 drive?
Anyone know how to go about making the xbox drive top-loading, or am I just gonna have to figure it out myself?

Re: My zn45 portable....
ya, I mean, I would go for more if it was perfect. What I'd really want to do is sell this one to pay back its cost, then use the profit to make my next portable, and to make that one more awesome than this

Re: My zn45 portable....
Is this thing worthy to be sold? Around $200-300? After put something on the back to cover the cartridge, of course. I'd like to make up some of the money I spent building this thing

Re: My zn45 portable....
How in the heck did you make the 4 led battery charge indicator? I could only find the one with 2 leds, one red for low battery and one green for charged battery. Actually, the led indicator was built into my battery. I used an external battery for a portable dvd player, and the LEDs were already t...

My zn45 portable....
It's alright. I'd say it's not too bad for a first portable. http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/5289/photo135c.jpg http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/1743/photo134.jpg http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/7957/photo133x.jpg It's really not super smooth and perfectly sanded, but it's okay. I didn't rea...

how to wire a/v out?
I want my portable n64 to be able to connect to the tv (composite video, of course). I have three rca jacks and a cable with three male rca plugs on either side. How do I wire the three rca jacks so that I can connect it to the tv by just plugging in the cable to both sides? Here's a drawing: http:/...

Re: psone screen 9 volt battery question
well, i'm going to have to change it. If i plug in my charger while my screen is plugged in, the colors of the screen go inverted. I checked the voltage of my battery, and it changes from 9V to 12V when plugged in, since the charger is 12V.

Re: n64 powers on for a few secs, then restarts...
yea, i copied you with the coby bp-420 and, yes, i went to radioshack today to buy some 1k resistors, and it seems to have fixed the problem, even with the 1000uf capacitor. thanks for the help. on the topic of the coby bp-420, did you take it apart, or just use the whole unit? seems tough to disman...

Re: n64 powers on for a few secs, then restarts...
Hmmm... 9.3v... fully charged? If that's a lithium-ion or lithium polymer battery then its broken. If it was an 11.1v battery, then that would be almost exactly the voltage it would be if it was dead. But if you say that its fully charged then something is terribly wrong. Or else could it be a lith...

Re: n64 powers on for a few secs, then restarts...
the red light is the 3.3v line... oh, i was just guessing that it was on the 12V line, i didn't really know for sure... i guess that all i can do at this point is try a 2k resistor instead... i just hope that it's not something wrong with the n64 mobo if it is, i'll just buy another n64 at the thri...
