Question concerning LED Mod
Hello, currently I am working on the "white LED"-MOD based on this tutorial: http://www.overclock.net/1894726-post24.html I have one question concerning the brightness-control: will it also work with the LED-MOD? If not what possibility do I have to reduce or increase the brightness gradual? Best re...

Re: Input S-Video to your PAL psone screen (Images Fixed)
Hello,
one question concerning the grounds. Usually s-video has one Y-ground and one C-ground. Where do I find them? Or do you use the composite ground for Y- and C-ground?
Best regards,
Azrael

PSone LCD to S-VIDEO - how to do?
Hello, as I know the psone lcd supports composite and RGB signals, but I need a s-video signal. On some websites I found hints that there are tutorials available, but all links on these homepages were dead. Does anybody know a link for a tutorial or manual to connect psone lcds with s-video devices?...

Re: PSone LCD Mobo damaged - can I fix it?
Thanks for the information. I think in that case I'll have to do the LED mod. I found the following tutorial: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,1765356,00.asp Is that a good one or is there a better one somewhere else? How bright (MCD) should the LEDs be? Is it better to use 1 resistor per ...

PSone LCD Mobo damaged - can I fix it?
Hello together, unfortunately my psone lcd motherboard fell down and some parts broke. I took a picture from the internet and marked the damaged parts: http://mitglied.multimania.de/fonuxe87/psone.png The 2 red marked parts are completely damaged. No chance to fix them. Can I replace these 2 parts? ...

Re: 2-Player RADICA possible?
Hello Tom, you're right, but why hacking a gameport into a RADICA? The difference is that a self-made console will always be more interesting and more special than a bought one. And I enjoy the feeling when I first start my hacked device and it works! That's like climbing a big mountain and I know t...

2-Player RADICA possible?
Hello together, currently I am thinking about buying a SF2-RADICA: http://www.obsolete-tears.com/photos/arcade_legends_sf2.jpg The idea is to hack a gameport into the device to use the 2-Player-Function for other games, e.g. Golden Axe, Sonic 2, Mortal Kombat, etc. Do you think this will work? Has s...

Re: RADICA Cartridge
Hello hackmodford,
that's a good question, I don't know. Unfortunately my old gegesis doesn't work anymore but I'd love to try the cartridge on a real genesis.
@ttsgeb: a RADICA isn't that expensive. I bought my one on ebay for 5 Euro.
Best regards,
Azrael

Re: RADICA Cartridge
Hello together, thanx a lot. I just took the standard schematic for the RADICA hack: http://benheck.com/Downloads/RadicaCartridgeSlot.jpg First I soldered wires on the ROM, then fixed the ROM to the board (doublesided tapes and a plastic shim) and finally soldered all wires like in the schematic. At...

RADICA Cartridge
Hello together, as you all know there are different postings concerning hacking the RADICA, e.g. adding a cartridge port. I did the same with success. But what about the removed ROM? So I thought of building a RADICA cartridge to use the ROM again. I took an old honey bee converter and used its boar...
