Wow! I never associated the devil and his (wife/girlfriend?) with a tire and wrenches! Wierd... It originally started during 1950's America as a hot-rod style. I love it! Particularly the laydeez  The Devil laydeez are always very nicely proportioned too, there's a lot of big girls featured i...

Just as well you got good Bug alternators over there in the US! The Bug's electrics was pretty limited originally. Mine only had a 30 amp dynamo when I first got it. Luckily you can get alternators these days that work on Bugs. 30 amps might seem like a lot but when you switch on the headlights (bea...

People who say you're going to hell for listening to music with the word "hell" in the title really scare me. To think there's actually people around who genuinly believe that. I personally don't believe in any religion but if someone wants to believe in something, that's entirely up to themselves -...

Ever think he mighta been after a pen? No. WOW  ! Nice car man! I wanna get a VW (Beatle) and totally trick it out with LEDs, neon, chrome elements, and fully functional instruments (guitars and basses, for concerts 8) ) on the sides... It would rock... I'd get the paint-job sharkskin...

Well, if you like my car: http://www.azbaja.com/RRBaja32c.jpg That's me aged 20 (on the right obviously!) with it. Me and a bunch of other Goths had been to see Metallica in concert. http://www.azbaja.com/RRBaja32a.jpg http://www.azbaja.com/RRBaja32b.jpg It was even used in a music video once for a ...

What I didn't understand is why he thought ripping off a guy over twice the size and build of him was a good idea?

Now I'm not exactly "tough" by any sense of the word but if you didn't know me and saw me in the street, you certainly wouldn't try stealing money from me unarmed.

What got me last time I was in Amsterdam was the amount of Nigerians around up to anything and everything dodgy. My Mrs was walking just in front of me and one guy says "Hey you lovely lady, you wanna come over here and talk?" to which I promptly replied "f*** off, that's my wife" Another time I was...

Stick an ammeter in the circuit whilst the screen is running and that will tell you how much mA the screen is actually using. As daguuy says, it's proberbly only using 700mA maximum. It will use even less if you do an LED coversion.

I personally think licences make up a huge part of the profits for any large "entertainment" company. When I worked for a cable TV company, I was quite amazed to find that Sky TV don't actually make much profit directly from subscribers. They make nearly all their profit from wholesale - i.e. sellin...

One thing I've found is that if you put one or two layers of something frosted (I used Scotch Magitape) or similar it gives a nice diffused even light rather than the "hot spots" that LEDs normally give. I've even seen someone on the web use a drinking straw! If you can get diffused white LEDs rathe...

Schmoke and a pancake? Waffle and a bong? (Sorry, couldn't resist :D ) I think I spotted a Maplin electronics branch last time I was over in Holland, but I might have been mistaken as I was too busy trying to get used to driving on the right. Holland is cool! Last time I was in Amsterdam I ended up ...

I think heating up a solder point and then very quickly tapping it against a table top or whatever and repeating until all the solder is off would be the only way.
