I was thinking of the same thing for TGSp, except I want to have a Turbografx, Genesis and SNES in the same case. Its going to be big, but using the schematics I have found it should be possible to make use of every centermeter of the case. Nothing like having the 16bit consoles in one case.

The Game Gear is different enough from the Master System for there to be no compatability between between carts... so go for it. The Game Gear has more colours I believe. I assume you are going to be outputting to a TV right? a lot of people have had trouble doing this, unless you can find some deve...

Genesis and SNES Schematics!

I was just going on a random google search and came across this site: http://www.electronix.com/catalog/default.php/cPath/1_25 They claim to sell schematics for various consoles. Does this mean that someone who had time time, and parts, create a very small redisigned board that maintains 100% compat...

Battery Ideas..

Hey, I was just wondering if a battery like this LINK would be effective for a portable? I was thinking of putting 2 of them in parralel to increase the amps. It would powering a 16bit console and a PSONE screen (I am still going decide whether I would rather have a short battery life in exchange fo...

I didnt mean impossible to reproduce, just an unlikely key stroke to achieve unless you were doing it purposely. I am assuming that the X Y Z buttons would be connected to multiple pins right? Has anyone recreated the genesis pad?

I don't think that finding the pin out for the X Y Z buttons will be that easy. I recently read (I am sorry, but I dont know where) that the 3 extra buttons are not wired as seperate buttons, but are interepereted as an impossible multi button push (like up, a and b). Thats why there was the mode bu...

Excelent. Sweet times ahead for the TGSp! Now all I need to work out some controller issues before I start buying everything I need. Thanks for all of your help. Just thought of one more question that I have. I know that LCDs make some games blurry due to the slow update times. Is this prevalent in ...

The systems are RGB compatable (Good old 16bit era, they knew how to look after their customers) after the RGB mods on Gamesx. Another question about the PS1 screen - how hard is it to use the speakers for stereo? Are they of a good quality? If not, is it possible to swap the speakers for better one...

I read through the thread and all I could see is the SVideo mod being the best for N64s due to their poor RGB output. All of the consoles I will be using in my portable will have very bright RGB. So, unless I am missing something, the RGB on the PS1 screen is the best, right?

Portable RGB

Hi, I have noticed that a lot of you are using composite input on your LCD panels in your systems. Is there any problem with using native RGB? Does the PSOne screen allow you to use RGB. For the portable I am working on, I want it to have the best screen output possible, so RGB is a must! Thanks for...

eMachineshop

Hey,

I was just wondering if any of you guys know about www.emachineshop.com. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like it would be great for anyone who wants the 'professional' look but does not have access to a CNC machine.

Regards,
TGS
