Well i think i dunno whats wrong, I rewired my capacitors and relocated my cart slot, plugged it into my screen to see if i could even get sound and no luck. I guess im just gunna haveta scrap the board and screen and try again. Next time I'll take stuff off and rewire, then check my work instead of...

Can't i removed the top of the board.... i think what happened was when i was trying to remove the ribbon for the screen from the board the first time i misread the book and pried the white plastic thing off the board instead of opening the grey flap. I mustve ripped off a trace or something...

Guide to cutting SNES controller and Rewiring it
Has anyone ever made a guide to do this? I've tried mutliple times to reconnect the A B X Y and GND back to the snes IC and then solder the W Y O R B wires from the snes cord to the IC so i can just plug it into a non-hacked snes to test it, but I can't get it to work. Am i supposed to implement any...

well this is disheartening because i can't get my screen to work. I want to check if my slot relocation and board still work, but i alredy desoldered the power and av plugs. Is there anyway to solder the red white and yellow composite cables straight to the board and hook up to my tv?

well i dunno whats wrong, i tried powering the LED's from the other 7805 and they still it up but im still not getting a picture, its a little disheartening because i cant do anything else now really

I think most people are becoming fans of li-po batteries because they are small and pack a lot of energy. These are the only ones you need a pcb for. Anything else your fine for. Ok so ive started to wire up the controller, i cut down an snes one and have the A & B connected to the IC along with the 5 leads from the controller cable so i could plug it into my other snes. well i feel like im at a standstill until i figure out how to get my screen to work, does anyone have any ideas where i may have gone wrong? I did chop the top of the board off, but i tried to leave more than the pictures suggest incase i cut something important off.

just tried that sam, didnt work, any other suggestions? The screen worked before i took out the light bulb, is there anyway when i cut the top of the board i couldve ruined something?

ya the LEDs light up, but its just a black screen when i turn on the psone, i tried to use the brightness control and nothing happened

LED mod but no picture now
I LED modded my psone screen, hooked it back up to my psone and turned it on. I get sound but no picture. I've tried reinserting the ribbon about 10 times, anyone else got any other suggestions?? Thanks
