Re: Powering a genesis, 9V battery?
I know you can easily run a Genesis 3 off a 9V battery through the regulator. Not sure about any of the other models. Edit: From "WHATS THE MAX VOLTAGE FOR A SEGA GENISIS MODEL 2" ~25v technically (if you want enough heat to last through an Alaskan winter). :P Input voltage gets fed a 7805 voltage r...

Re: Best NOAC + Pocket TV?
I think after I build this one I'm going to use a PSOne screen with my original NES mobo and integrate my game genie into that. So, that being said, I have to ask the question that's already been asked a million times I'm sure: Which is the smallest and best NOAC to use? I'm looking at buying a ret...

Re: Genesis Model 1 Portable?
Thanks for the info. I had a feeling I was off. I will be looking over the threads in the sega forum later today. As for my electronic engineering skills, they are next to none existent. I have basic soldering knowledge, but not much with resisters, capacitors and the like. I have a few people I wo...

Re: Genesis Model 1 Portable?
well the genny 1 is quite large so if you are set on making something with it I would suggest getting larger screen and making a tablet style portable O_O oh..... Me likey that idea. To do that, one would have to do RGB or S-Video mod to get the video to work with the screen right? I ask this becau...

That's insane; it's probably a PNES engineered to work with the 'boy's controller and screen. That thing is kind of sexy.

Re: Cartridge Slot source?
Other than gutting them from Game Genies and the like, are there any other sources for NESp cartridge slots? I can't find a reliable source from anyone. I know Benheck used floppy connectors or something in his NES micro, how does this work and what did he really use? There are plenty of brand new ...

It seems to me that building a case before you buy the batteries is a mistake.Hackmodford wrote: The sign shop is currently cutting the case right now.
All other parts are in the mail and on their way to me.
We're still figuring out what batteries to use though.

why is it when someone asks a question on here people just say if you have to ask then you can't do it. So many people don't have faith in anyone elese Yeah its kind of annoying, I have noticed that a lot of people on this forum don't have any faith in other members. its kind of like innocent until...

60 to 72 Pin Converter
First post; hi, everyone.
Getting down to business, I'd like to know whether or not anyone's ever dealt with THIS WEBSITE before? It seems professional enough, but it would be nice to get some confirmation. If not, any links to other (cheaper) converters would be appreciated as well.
