Tons of game crap I just got. Is it usable?
I just spent $10 at the Thrift Shop down the street. Got a bunch of stuff! It all looks pretty usable for my future SNESp. Here's a breakdown of what it is. Controllers: -"Winner" Controller, looks like SNES but can't really tell, has a SG looking cable -Microsoft Steering Set (USB), I know I can't...

Re: Starting my first SNESp. Help getting started?
Okay, a full-size SNES can be used, but it's big. If you are lucky you have the "small board" version, which is a little bit smaller. Info here: http://wocares.com/modding/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; An AG-85 is way to small for this. A big SNES will NOT FIT IN A CASE THAT SMALL...

I'm going to make a Vacuum Former. Will this do?
Hi, I'm new to the portable community, and I'd like to get started as soon as I can! I figure the first thing I am going to need to do is get a case, and at that, one that I can redo as many times as desired until I get it right! So I figured, why not build a vacuum former? So I think I am going to ...

Re: My first Portable, N64p
I have a lot of systems lying around. All of which are too bulky to make portable. But my N64 just broke, so maybe it will have a change in heart, it's actually my little brothers but w/e. I'm in the same boat as you as far as making any sort of portable. Some things I DO have experience with- eBay-...

Re: How To Remove Nintendo Screws- a Tutorial
How to Remove Nintendo Screws Brute Force Thios just involves cuttinhg, drilling, pulling, yanking, and playing that the system will open. It's dangerous and somewhat barbaric, but it may be your only option if you can't get the screws loose by any other means. Again, this is not the best solution ...

Re: Building my first computer. Need some help what to pick.
2-4 Gigs of RAM, AT LEAST Dual Core processor (Not a Pentium 4 Logic, that's what I have and it SUCKS), and ATI Radeon HD4850/70/90
Anything past the 4850 will play those maxed. I get 212 FPS CS:S.

Re: Starting my first SNESp. Help getting started?
Alright, thanks for the help guys. I'm planning on getting started soon. LOB, I noticed 2 of your SNES projects use the AG-85 Case. Will that house a SNES at full size, or have you tried yet? I read on one of your threads that it was kind of a tight fit, so I wasn't sure if you were using a mini or ...

Re: Starting my first SNESp. Help getting started?
Well if the battery says 4.5 aH, then that means that it's appx. 4500 amps right? So the milliamp factor is reasonable with this battery, but what I need is a higher voltage? Roughly 7.2 Volts? So what about the screen, should that use a separate battery, or can I use one going at (this is by guesst...

Re: Starting my first SNESp. Help getting started?
The mentioned battery is probably about 3x2x1 inches. Give or take. It's a bit long, and kind of chunky. I don't have any physical case sitting in front of me, so I don't really know. There's a place called BatteriesPlus right down the street from here, maybe if I could figure out what the best maH ...

Re: Starting my first SNESp. Help getting started?
Also, it just occurred to me that I have a set of crappy Polaroid DVD player screens, 7" if I recall. Could I rip one apart and use it? It is the secondary screen, it receives audio and video via 1/8 phono jacks. Also has built in speakers and such. Would this work? http://www.amazon.com/Pol...

Re: Nintendo SuperBoy Rev2!
Hey, since this is your second build with the AG-85, I'm trying to work on my first ever build and I want it to be a SNES. I actually own a full-sized SNES, what are the chances of it actually fitting into that case along with the other components? Also, do you happen to know if this type of screen ...

Looking for a classic NES case
I'm looking for a classic NES case (controllers would be great too, even if empty) without anything in it. I am going to turn it into a PC and plan on putting emulators and roms on it. Therefore, it doesn't need anything in it (but having the power button would be GREAT). I'd be willing to pay about...
