if anybody has a psone screen that they don't want the speakers from let me know. i am looking for an audio circuit for my ps2p and it would probably be easier to just use the speakers/volume control/headphone jack from a psone screen

perhaps not, but it would give people things to look for at swap meets, on ebay, etc. the lower the draw from the screen, the longer the batteries last.

it depends on how big the screen is. it would depend on how integrated you want it to look. you could simply put some spacers under it and haver screws go through the case and spacers and hold the screen away from the case. also you have to take into account the power draw. the pstwo draws 5.2 or 5....

the answer is: the pstwo uses 5.3 amps. i looked in the manual for mine. it said the pstwo is 8.5 volts at 5.5a. the power supply is rated at 5.65a max output.

i'm not too worried about the size. my goal when making it is to not increas the width and hight, but more that 1 inch depth. i have a pretty good i dea of how i will do it, but it depends on the hd. i dont really want to do any more soldering than i have to so i was thinking about running usbextrem...
