It would help if you gave a picture, or a video of it so we could have some reference of the quality of work, whether it's just some junk you threw together or if it's very professional will make a difference. Making my own battery charger, some help?

I'm pretty sure that they're either NiCd or NiMH which means you could use one of those 6v chargers for an RC car. If someone could confirm this that'd be nice.

Stepping up from 7.4v to 12v uses power, so to answer your question, no you don't lose mah, but you increase your power consumption which will decrease your battery life.

For some reason I don't think that those are AA batteries (although it still is possible)... I'm pretty sure that they are lipos or something similar. If there's writing on the cells, that might help. If you can see if they are wired in parallel, or series, or if you can't tell take some more pictur...

I read somewhere that the 1.2A smartcharger from batteryspace will only charge certain capacities, is that true, or will I be able to charge my 12Ah batteries
