Re: quick cartridge slot relocation question
you can't just stick it in the original hole if you removed the expansion slot on the bottom. stick each wire it in the expansion slot holes instead and solder on the underside of the board to the original pins. then add a little solder the the expansion pin hole to ensure contact. the reason you ne...

protip: resting your hand on something would help you take not so crap blurry images. Also spelling stuff correctly makes you seem more professional and flip those damn images, the iphone should so that automatically.

Re: Replace video encoder chip in PAL n64 to make it rgb ok?
you can, i did it. it is pretty easy to switch out the chips so you won't "butcher" the n64. all you have to do is get a soldering iron and heat up each of the pins and pry that pin up lightly with a pin, holding it for 3 secs so the pin doesn't reconnect. do that to all of them and lift the chip aw...

Re: The 64snap! worklog

Re: The 64snap! worklog
Well we will see if the headphone jacks compliment the unit, I believe they will as the colour scheme is bright/vibrant colours on black. No I haven't cut the case to be narrower, I just have a bigger screen than people like LoB. It's 5.6 inches or so where as his was 5. I am hooking up the z button...

Re: The 64snap! worklog
so I've put in the start button finally, but decided to put the power switch up on top and use a nice clunky switch that I pulled from a computer power supply. I have also put in some air vents at the top that I cut off the bottom of the n64. I am still doing the triggers (which are going to be 2 Z ...
