Re: quick cartridge slot relocation question

you can't just stick it in the original hole if you removed the expansion slot on the bottom. stick each wire it in the expansion slot holes instead and solder on the underside of the board to the original pins. then add a little solder the the expansion pin hole to ensure contact. the reason you ne...

Re: Replace video encoder chip in PAL n64 to make it rgb ok?

you can, i did it. it is pretty easy to switch out the chips so you won't "butcher" the n64. all you have to do is get a soldering iron and heat up each of the pins and pry that pin up lightly with a pin, holding it for 3 secs so the pin doesn't reconnect. do that to all of them and lift the chip aw...

I stuffed most of the bits except 4 of the battery cells into the case and it fits with room to spare. So i will be doing just a bit more on the front hal...

Re: The 64snap! worklog

Well we will see if the headphone jacks compliment the unit, I believe they will as the colour scheme is bright/vibrant colours on black. No I haven't cut the case to be narrower, I just have a bigger screen than people like LoB. It's 5.6 inches or so where as his was 5. I am hooking up the z button...

Re: The 64snap! worklog

I have also put in some air vents at the top that I cut off the bottom of the n64. I am still doing the triggers (which are going to be 2 Z ...
