Recover corrupt PS2 memory card
Hey all. I have an odd situation. My friend connected his PS2 memory card to my PS3 only to find that its unreadable. The adapter works fine, but he blames me for the loss of his data. The data is still there (PS2/Ps3 says there is stuff on the card) it just cant be accessed. Is there any possible w...

Re: techknott's 3rd Dreamcast Portable
What is the SD card for? Homebrew?? Wonder the same thing myself. Might be for ISO loading, but don't think that is possible. Either way, this is an amazing mod. Assuming this was for the fun of it and not a commission right? I don't remember if you sell your projects (like WVI for PS3). Not that I...

Re: HandyDuo - lovablechevy's first portable - finished!
Congrads on finishing your project!! Looks amazing. Makes me wish I had the time and tools to do something like this. Also the talent......... Anyway, happy to see news of your portable is getting picked up by many of the major sites (found out on Engadget since I haven't been to the forum in a whil...

Re: GBC Development
Compiling your own games is not an easy task. i tried my hand at DS development and it took a lot of effort to get the libraries working in a decent IDE. GCC is an open-source C and C++ compiler. You can use it in a Windows environment, but you will have to install a few things to get it working. Th...

Re: How to swap A and B on NES controller
Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll break down and try it myself as its probably a decent projects to wet my teeth on.
One other question: Say I wanted to wire it to a switch so I could switch between normal controls and reversed (for Megaman Collection). What kind of switch would be to use?

How to swap A and B on NES controller
Hey all. I have an odd question for you guys. I'm interested in buying a NES-to-GCN adapter so I can use a NES controller to play Megaman Collection for GCN. Sadly, the GCN version of the game swaps the A and B button controls (A to shoot, B to jump). The only way I can figure to fix this issue is t...

Re: wii laptop finished (Now with MOARRRR pictures!)
unfortunately i didn't have the balls to desolder the game cube ports so as the cd drive got in the way there was no point integrating game cube functionality as i also don't own a single game cube game and i have no intention of owning any lol. Understandable why you left it out, but would have be...

Re: FC Twin -JapanVersion-
Not sure about anyone else, but I'm interested in this. Its an easy way to play Famciom imports. I have spent a year+ trying to find a converter or retail cart with converter and have had no luck. Having this for SNES and Famicom (if SNES compatibility is up to par with the Retro Duo, which it seems...

Re: Just got a ds with a broken top screen, modding idea.
I vote for making it a stand-alone GBA console. Find a way to rewire the X and Y buttons to be turbo A and B and enjoy.
Someone here had an idea like that before, but dont remember it ever getting beyond the design phase.

Re: Get your hacking tools ready...the GENMOBILE is out!
I like the bigger screen of the Retrogen : http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sell/SSProfiles/60000165/Images/7/retrogen.jpg But I guess some built in games makes up for the smaller screen. I agree the Retrogen has a nicer screen. but the D-Pad look painful. I would try and find a way to replace it A...

Trying to design home console-ized PSP
Hey all. As silly as this sounds, I have a growning interest in trying to make a PSP home console. I love my PSP, but now that I am not traveling on the subway or bus anymore, I don't seem to play it much anymore. When I do play, I'm usually sitting in bed or on the couch, which is a little uncomfor...
