looking for supplier
I'm looking at building a little bit of a project, wanting to know if anyone can think of a supplier (cheap) for small (.75" or so) metal gears, (spur and bevel) and electric motors.

This was actually a pretty good movie, and was the start of an exellent night for me, I saw it in the middle of a triple feature (Ben, if you think 2:20 is long. you're WAY off) allong with 1408 and the new die hard. And I have to say, it's an excellent movie, it's much better than watching 20 half-...

I think the stance of the Brits is that it was a wrong to fight their own 'brothers' (these are ppl that were living in a country colonized by England remember?) There's also tales of entire hordes of Brittish soldiers closing their eyes when they discharge their fire-arms, and calling the war an 'a...

The Wii wasn't even hooked up. Wii checked. It was merely there for show. It was quite interesting to see the other 2 systems being played and the Wii display drawing no interest due to it being lobotomized. It's almost like Nintendo doesn't want people to have a chance to play it prior to plunking...

YES! Finally! But why didn't they use the turtle suits like in the older ones? They were actually planning on doing just that, peter liard had some footage of a creepy looking splinter on his website about a year and a half ago. He also stated the movie was gonna be on 'abc family' or something lik...

Plus, just want to say something, if you're getting your Bruce Lee info from 'Dragon: the bruce lee story' you might wanna look elsewhere, okay movie, but the likes of ppl ...

thread = martial arts... namely those combative aspects using one's body, not a weapon or your mind... and it has some pretty decent discussion, yet has come a long way from CTfan's original posting's questions. And compared to martial arts, shooting's really not that much of a skill thing, yes long...

variations have nothing to do with effectiveness (and how many variations of side kick or front kick are there?), it's all about speed and target areas. i have spared people who have ben doing karate for 20+ years, and they all agree, round house kicks are low damage. then they must've not been doin...

don't throw it just as a distraction; give them something to block, or better yet, hit their rib cage. Always remember that a kick is never just a distraction. nothing really should be thrown as a distraction, if I jab at you, I might as well pop you in the nose or something, why waste energy throw...

you don't just throw a roundhouse kick by itself, you always distract the person before throwing ANY kick, because any kick by itself can easily be avoided and you're essentially off balance because only one foot's on the ground, a good kicker knows how to set-up a kick, it's like simply just runnin...

EXACTLY, why else would that kick be utilized in kickboxing, K-1, and MMA matches all the time? I know for a fact that some MMA fighters have very painfull roundkicks, and yes, I've worked out with some of them, namely those who trained under the late Carlson Gracie, Vitor Belfort, Conan Silveria, S...

alright, but let me tell you, I've broken ribs and cracked other people's shins with round house kicks, I'm telling you you're doing your technique wrong. what style do you train in, is it kyokushin, muay thai or the like? have you ever sparred a good kickboxer or muay thai artist? they'll hit you l...

what's this a roundhouse kick barely hurts?! who taught you how to roundhouse kick, they obviously did it WRONG... in three of my 15 MMA fights I've put people down with round house kicks to the head, one shot only, and in many of my other fights, MMA and kyokushin karate, I've gave people one heck ...

I heard you, but... I don't agree that your body type will keep you from having the best of your abilities realized, sure, if I spar someone that's six foot six, I'll have to out manuever them, and probably use my size disadvantage to my advantage, work inside his range and go for the takedown. of c...
