Preordering a game

I am on a forum and we are waiting for a game that will be released on Oct. 21.

Does preordering from Gamestop makes you get the game earlier? Like Oct. 8? That's what other members claim.

(I think it's full of fart but I don't know anything about preordering things.)

No you don't get it early, all that who gain by pre ordering a game is a guarantee that you get the game.

yep. But then you need to pick it up within 48 hours of release, or they sell your reserved game.

no they don't, at least at my gamestop they will hold your copy of your game until you pick it up, whether its opening day or 3 months later. They will call and remind you, but they will always have your copy on hand.

OMG I wish people would stop talking about LBP!

Sony thinks it is gonna push allot of systems, but if MGS4 barely did that, I HIGHLY doubt that this game will, no matter how good it is.

I honestly don't give 2 crap about LBP but that is just me.

I can't wait till Gran Turismo 5, screw Forza, I like the fact that you can go buy a car that hardly anyone would think of racing with (like a Delorean, a Model T, an everyday run of the mill car and tune it to race) Forza is like here is your Rice burners, here is your American muscle cars, here is your European Formula one cars, and here are your Concept cars, here are your Super Cars with monster V12 engines.

Woops sorry, this thread is about LBP, not Forza and Gran Turismo.

LBP will be epic. MGS4 didnt push systems since it belongs to a niche market... MGS fans (or movie fans, whatever)
