I have been planning on making an N64p for a while (like 2 months) so can any1 give me help. I've already got the n64 motherboard out of the casing, the controller out of the casing, a case made - about 8 and a half inches by 6 inches, and about 1 'n' a half inches high, i'm about to relocate the cartridge slot with some cable, and my screen is coming in the post 2moro (April Fools ) am i missing anything - apart from a battery?
And by the way, its my first portable!!
EDIT: I was thinking on calling it the 'Chunk' 64

Ha, good luck! I'm starting one for my first portable as well! (or more specifically, I'm going to be working on a N64p and PSOneP at the same time). If there's anything I can tell you, its always wear a anti-static wrist strap when possible. It could SAVE you money if 'ya know what I mean . BTW, there are some people that will tell you differently, but I reccomend it for a newbie.
HAVE FUN!
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
you're missing a dc-dc convertor. aside from that you're good to go go to benwiki.tk or my site to find the N64 guide
EDIT: yeah, you really need an anti-static strap. and be as careful with the mobo and controller ans you can, those fry esily if you don't treat them right
i don't know the value of the inductor but it should be pretty small. here's 2 pics of mine, hopefully this will help
the little orange donut-shaped thing is the inductor
i also got my psone screen through the post this morning, could you show me a diagram of how to wire it in. i've seen 1 before, but i'm still not 100% sure on how to wire it
