I am in the process of building a SNESp
it has a 7.5 volt charger for it. If i wanted to play through wall power/while its charging,how do I do it?

Right now I have a switch,when its in the left position the connected terminals are the SNES and the batteries. When its in the right position the connected terminals are the batteries and the charge jack.

The 7805 regulator im using can handle up to 32V so,would it be okay if I connected the middle and right terminals so that in the left position it is connected to the batteries AND the charger?
