HO hum. The world continues. We actually had a pretty aggressive thunderstorm last night in MN, but sadly, not an apocalyptic-rapture-zombie-tornado thing. I bet those people who spent all their money, quit their jobs, and gave away everything they owned in preparation for the end feel pretty freaking ripped off.

Don't forgot that reloading takes more time than it does to swing a sword and the average person can run
20 feet in less than 2 seconds. In the time it takes to reload a single round I could run 20 feet and behead
someone before they draw a gun. Bonus points for double sword wielding and if you use a nodaichi sword
you have about a 4 to 5 foot blade length between you and the zombies. W00T!

Lucky for me, I have a small real edged arsenal. The only problem is if the enemy types vary. If we're talking the shuffling Dawn of the Dead, a sword and a way to bottleneck the undead is good. If we're talking Left 4 Dead, mutated types might not be easily taken down by a sharp sword. If its 28 Days Later style, you will need a ranged weapon to deal with the berserker infected.
