What can I use solid-strand FDD ribbon cable for? I was thinking of using it for wiring my controller in my SNES portable and a few other projects since I have 30 cables to work with. It's kind of tough to work with for me, and the wires are pretty thin, so before I do the work and then need to troubleshoot it, I figured I'd ask here.

What kind of voltage/amperage load can it take?
What would its gauge rating be?
What kind of ribbon cable would be better (in terms of solid-strand vs braided or thickness of wire) if I'm unable to use FDD cable?

I dont know if it helps you but it has an ATA 66/100 Mbps transfer speed and you can get a two pack of them if you find any use for them for 3.54 here
It looks like it would be good for cart slot relocating and for the controller too. :J

Sweet! I haven't had time to mess with it yet, after the holidays I'm gonna start this back up for a few days before I start college and post the results. I've already got about 15 individual cables from back in the day (got a huge pack from someone on ebay for about $8).
Thanks for the reply!
