Tapatalk plugin for iPhone/Android users

Doesn't seem like it would be too much trouble to install. And would be great for a lot of users I'm sure...

It basically makes the forums viewable in a native app for the mobile users. This speeds things up a lot! And makes it look very nice.

I don't have a cell/smart phone that isn't parts now, but if I had one that was still a smart-phone I'd be quite enthusiastic about this.

woah thanks this can be really helpful i go through the forums on my bb storm all the time. Does it support benheck forums?

EDIT: i just got the app on my bb how does it work is it only for forums its made for or does it have to do with the actual forum? if i have to email ben heck i will lets make a petition thread!

Whoever has high acess to the forums has to simply install the plugin/script on the server. Once that's done the rest is automatic. The forums that are in the app are the ones that already have the plugin.

Change the name of it or make a brand new thread linking it to this thread and also make it like a poll if possible just putting in yes and no or just yes to see how many people want this... also can it be made so full editor isnt needed? it would be cool to see a petition for something here i mean this is....

This would be handy for me, as I often moderate from my iPod Touch. Also, I intend to play around with Android soon, so I support it doubly.

Place the zip package at the root of your forum system.
Unzip the package. You should see a directory called "mobiquo" inside your forum system root directory. For example, if your forum URL is http://www.mysite.com/forum, it should be placed at http://www.mysite.com/forum/mobiquo/.
Edit the file /<phpBB3_root>/styles/{YOUR_STYLE}/template/overall_footer.html
Search in this file:

Insert the following line above them

Purge the forum cache by logging in to the administration panel, find "Resynchronize or reset statistics" in the "General" section, click "Purge the cache".

I just got an android phone (which has tapatalk) and in addition to my iPod this would be really really useful!
