Age is not an issue when it comes to this kind of thing, it's knowledge.
You said you have some soldering experience? That's good, because you will be doing a LOT of it.

It uses the original hardware, not an NOAC, but it's easier to solder to.
If you don't know anything at all about electronics, you can try reading this (but I wouldn't reccommend it, there's a TON of stuff there. But, it could be what you are looking for.
And what Kyle said in small print is spot on. Act mature, use good grammar/spelling, and you'll do fine here.
