This wireless transmitter will get you AV signals at a range of 260 feet.

If the other TV is too far from the console, you will get spotty controller performance. With a PS3 the controller is bluetooth, so you should be able to go at least 30 feet. I have read that the PS3 controllers should work up to 65 feet. However, I would assume this being with no walls/floors in between, the more walls/floors you have will reduce the distance you can go.
I know I can go pretty far with my Xbox 360 controller, but definitely not 65 feet. I can get from my main living room, through my dining room and kitchen and out the back door before the signal drops off. I can pretty much go to any room on my main floor with no issue. I have not tried it from directly above or below however, so I do not know how it would react to a floor/ceiling. I also have an open floor plan, so at most I am usually only around a corner from the system, one room has a door and wall in between the console and the controller still works fine, but it is the closest room to the console.
