Very nice. You should add a charge port, too, in case you're too lazy to let it sit for that long.

Hey dude, in case you didn't know, your tutorial is down (seems the whole site is). "This Account Has Been Suspended." Hope you get it back up, as I look forward to reading it.

Sometimes that happens if a site hits its monthly bandwidth cap. :? Hope that's the only problem.

Does anyone know of a good sites for buying solar panels? I think it would be kinda neat to do some projects with them.

Definitely not Radio Shack; they charge way too much for anything fun.

A couple years ago we got some solar powered patio lights from Target. They suck as lights (one dim LED inside, powered by a 1.2v NiCd regargeable AA), but because they were end-of-season clearance they were only $10 for a set of 4 or 5. The panels are about 3x3" each.

Your best bet is to look in surplus catalogs, they are often dumping random panels for really low prices. Try Electronic Goldmine, or American Science and Surplus.
